Angela Strong is a Certified Public Accountant, graduate of Texas A&M University, and a resident and active community leader in The Woodlands. She graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master of Science degree in taxation. She began her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in Dallas before moving to The Woodlands in 2005 where she worked for UHY Advisors, LLP.  In 2008 Angela started her own accounting practice, which has continued to grow under her leadership.

Angela’s experience includes providing tax advice, compliance, and consulting including entity structure and planning for businesses and individual clients. She also has experience in managing complex individual, partnership, corporate, estate, fiduciary, gift, and not-for-profit tax returns as well as managing audit, review, and compilation engagements.

Angela currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce and has served on several committees and as a team leader in support of Chamber events and activities. She also has served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Panther Creek Inspiration Ranch and as Treasurer and Vice President of Finance on the Board of Directors for Junior League of The Woodlands.  Angela has served on the South Montgomery County YMCA board of directors and has served as a volunteer coach for youth sports. She has also served as Treasurer on the Village Association Board for Sterling Ridge Village in The Woodlands.  A Strong CPA is a partner in The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership and Angela currently serves on the Board of Directors.

Angela is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Colorado State Board of Accountancy, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is a 2009 graduate of Leadership Montgomery County. She is a sixth generation Texan and a registered member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

A lifelong athlete, Angela played basketball for Duncanville High School bringing home one of the eleven state titles won by the school and setting a state record for the most 5A undefeated wins in one season. Her track and field career includes two school records in the discus and the title of “Top Throwers to Watch” in the state of Texas. She has also completed multiple distance races including a 70.3 Ironman. In her free time Angela enjoys skiing, hiking, running, and traveling with her family.  Angela has been happily married to her husband, Bret Strong,  since 2010 and they share three children, Luke, Ella, and Kate.
